Beckham to LA!

I don't have many thoughts on this yet but David Beckham has  agreed to sign with the LA Galaxy for about $250 Million.   The largest in sporting history. Here is a link to the story:  http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=399465&cc=5901

What a waste! He'll have NO effect on March Madness!

Come this Saturday, 'da Saints are gonna crush dem LA boys, den Super Bowl Sunday: Here we come!!!! $25 Million or not, dem Saints are gonna roll!

I heard the Cowboys needed a new kicker. He shoulda signed with them!

He coulda signed with 'da Bears as I understand the left field wall there is only 290 feet! Course, then, Tiger hasn't teed it up yet this year.

And, no! Hurricane Katrina had NOTHING to do with this signing!

Know what I mean?

Trust your day is blessed as never before!

This is one of the funniest responses I have ever read!

Though, what is not funny is how he (and Ronaldo) are being treated by the coach and many around the European world. Even some in the USA dismiss him as a player. Gone are the days when a great player can be respected throughout his career and into retirement. He doesn't deserve the treatment he is getting, the rude comments by his coach directed at him and the MLS. Though, I am happy that he isn't playing, since that will lessen that chance of an injury.

I STILL hate the Galaxy though!

I was hoping this would possibly bring Ronaldo to the US or even that someone would be able to talk Zidane out of retirement. All of these guys played in the World Cup this year. How can they not improve our level of play? The answer is that they will (or at least Becks at this point) and we will all be better for it.

Thanks for an amazing laugh Hardy!
